SIZE CHART - Barefoot shoes
PLEASE NOTE: Determine the shoe size directly according to the length of your feet. The inner length of the shoe is 12 mm longer than the foot length for the same shoe size. For example, if your foot length is 256 mm, you would select size 40, and the inner length of the shoe would be 268 mm. The values for widths represent the inner shoe widths at the widest part of the ball of the foot.Size EU | Foot length (mm) | Inner shoe length (mm) | Foot width (mm) narrow | Foot width (mm) wide | Foot width (mm) Extra wide - Plus |

Let your feet feel the freedom again with CONTACT C2!
The main role in the development and manufacturing of Proalp footwear is awareness about our health. We combine the centuries-old tradition of shoemaking with an understanding of natural foot movement. When walking, feet change their shape, loads, and ground contact. Feet are resilient and dynamic by nature and have flexibility and strength, which is significantly compromised with the use of incorrect footwear. Proper footwear gives the feet full freedom of movement and allows contact with the terrain we walk on, which maintains and improves the structure of bones, joints, and muscles.
Some of Contact’s features:
- They are shaped like feet. The forefoot part forms a shoe wide enough for us to step with the whole soles of the feet on the ground, and all toes have enough space to spread and move. Particular attention is paid to the front inner curve of the shoes, which should provide ample space for the toes, for an active gait.
- Flexible soles allow a maximum tilt angle, and the foot arch can freely amortize loads during a walk.
- Contact shoes firmly grip the feet.
- Soft leather (optionally microfiber) is used for the upper part and the lining. The insole is a 4 mm layer of natural sheep wool, which regulates the temperature and insulates the feet from heat and cold. The natural materials create a breathable antiseptic shoe environment.
The Contact shoes’ great feature is the 2.5 mm vulcanized rubber sole. It is anti-slip and resistant to wear. It has a 15 mm wall design around the feet, and in wet weather, it prevents the upper from being in direct contact with the wet ground. An additional 5 mm deep profile sole enables the best grip, even on more demanding grounds, and makes the shoes non-slippery and warmer in cold conditions.
The shoes ensure a good climate inside the shoe as they are made from only natural materials that allow the shoe to breathe freely. The upper part is water-resistant, and with impregnation and care, it maintains quality and durability.
In winter models, there is an option with a additfional natural sheep wool inserts.
Features:
- Upper part: leather
- Lining: leather
- Sole: rubber
By taking care of our shoes, we preserve their good appearance, durability, and resistance to different weather conditions. Below are some tips.
SHOES MADE OF SMOOTH MATERIALS:
- Occasionally, wipe them with a damp cloth, to which you can add a drop of mild dish detergent.
- When applying a new cream to the shoes, test it on a hidden area before spreading it over the entire surface.
- Once clean, apply a thin layer of colourless cream or wax, then rub it gently into the smooth leather with a dry cloth.
SHOES MADE OF BRUSHED MATERIALS:
- If they are dry and muddy, you can brush them with a soft brush.
- Occasionally, wipe them with a damp cloth, adding a drop of mild dish detergent if needed.
- Once clean, spray them with a colourless water-repellent spray, which refreshes the color, conditions the leather, and increases its water resistance.
FOR ALL PROALP SHOES, PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:
- Dry wet shoes in the air, in the shade, or indoors away from heat sources.
- Never soak them in water or wash them in a washing machine.
- If you wish, during the off-season, stuff them with crumpled absorbent paper (such as newspaper).
HOW OFTEN SHOULD WE CLEAN AND CARE FOR OUR SHOES?
Everyone has their own criteria for this, but we recommend doing it several times a season.
