PLEASE NOTE: Determine the shoe size directly according to the length of your feet. The inner length of the shoe is 12 mm longer than the foot length for the same shoe size. For example, if your foot length is 256 mm, you would select size 40, and the inner length of the shoe would be 268 mm. MATERIALS
They are crafted from high-quality natural leather, which offers a pleasant feel against the skin. Featuring a lightweight flat rubber outsole with excellent grip makes them highly suitable for summer adventures.
STRAPS
Designed with an adjustable straps to accommodate different widths and provide a comfortable fit for feet of various volumes.
The first strap is narrower and longer and is completely movable. It moves under the toe and on the side, where it meets the wider strap. This allows you to adjust this strap to fit each foot individually – tightening or loosening it as desired.
The second, wider strap, embraces the foot across the instep. For the narrow version, the strap is shorter, and for the wider versions, it is slightly longer, corresponding to the average feet volume.
WEIGHT AND THICKNESS
The weight is 130 – 180g, it slightly varies depending on the weight of the material used for the upper part.
The thickness of entire sole (leather + rubber) is 8 mm.
SIZE AND WIDTH SELECTION
Regarding width selection, opt for the same width as you would for closed shoes. If you have significant deviations from average, we can individually adjust the length of the wider strap in our workshop.
When selecting the size, note that sandals require less space in front of the toes compared to closed shoes. Therefore, it’s advisable to round down when choosing the size. For example, if you typically wear a half size in Proalp barefoot models or if the size chart suggests a half size, round down (e.g., if you usually wear EU 39.5, choose size 39). Similarly, if you wear size 39 in closed shoes, select the same size for sandals. Since sandals lack an upper part, allowing our feet to be free in front of the toes, a slightly shorter sole length is acceptable.
Additionally, when placing an order, you have the option to provide the circumference of your feet around the instep. This enables us to adjust the length of the wider strap to fit your feet if necessary, and this adjustment is provided free of charge.

By taking care of our shoes, we preserve their good appearance, durability, and resistance to different weather conditions. Below are some tips.
SHOES MADE OF SMOOTH MATERIALS:
- Occasionally, wipe them with a damp cloth, to which you can add a drop of mild dish detergent.
- When applying a new cream to the shoes, test it on a hidden area before spreading it over the entire surface.
- Once clean, apply a thin layer of colourless cream or wax, then rub it gently into the smooth leather with a dry cloth.
SHOES MADE OF BRUSHED MATERIALS:
- If they are dry and muddy, you can brush them with a soft brush.
- Occasionally, wipe them with a damp cloth, adding a drop of mild dish detergent if needed.
- Once clean, spray them with a colourless water-repellent spray, which refreshes the color, conditions the leather, and increases its water resistance.
FOR ALL PROALP SHOES, PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:
- Dry wet shoes in the air, in the shade, or indoors away from heat sources.
- Never soak them in water or wash them in a washing machine.
- If you wish, during the off-season, stuff them with crumpled absorbent paper (such as newspaper).
HOW OFTEN SHOULD WE CLEAN AND CARE FOR OUR SHOES?
Everyone has their own criteria for this, but we recommend doing it several times a season.
We deliver our products to any address in the EU, other countries in Europe, and also worldwide. The shipping costs depend on the country that the packages are sent to and are calculated during the order process. Delivery costs include VAT (22 %) for all member states of the EU.
Products in stock are dispached to the delivery service 1 day after placing your order. For products that should yet be manufactured, unique products or customize items, the time of delivery is longer and it can take up to 14 days. In case the delivery time is more than 10 days, you will be informed by telephone or e-mail. In case of ordering more products with different delivery times, the ordered package will be delivered when all ordered products are available.
